Indy Helis Custom Upgrade's


Here at IndyHelis we are continuously developing our products. With that in mind we are proud to announce our first upgrade for our custom electric mechanics!

  We are pleased to release our BRASS CROWN GEAR upgrade and Aluminum TAIL GEAR upgrade. Since our mechanics can be used in many different scale applications the torque loads put upon the crown gear and tail gears can vary vastly from model to model not to mention how well a builder assembles everything. Although we have customers with 5 years of flight time on our stock delrin crown gears with no issues, it is possible to strip them with mild aerobatics (like stall turns and rolls) if you have a heavy torque load (heavy model, and/or multiple large blades).

  We want our customers to have piece of mind their mechanics will be reliable and give them many years of flying enjoyment. The brass crown gear used in conjunction with the alum. tail gears greatly strengthens the drivetrain. They are sold separately in case you have a different tail case than our own.



  All mechanics sold currently have the brass gear upgrade.
